In 1982, I started my career in the real estate industry working for various brokers and builders as a receptionist on up to sales and marketing assistant. In 1993, I joined Windermere Real Estate in Monroe as a newly licensed real estate broker. Learning from the bottom up has enabled me to understand every aspect of my profession. With every interview, I provide a Seller Guide outlining my listing and sale process, my list versus sales price statistics, my education, resume, past sales and client reviews. It's important to me that what I say and do are verified by data. For every seller client, I offer complimentary home staging and professional photos including aerial photography as a courtesy for listing your home with me.
The most important decision a buyer will make in the home buying process is choosing the right Broker to represent them. There are so many variables that go into a successful home search and preparing and presenting a competitive offer. I am skilled at listening to what a buyer wants so I can weed out homes that do not fit into their perimeters thus saving both a lot of time. I guide my home buyers from beginning to end, starting with referring them to a lender to get pre-approved for their home loan to reviewing closing documents to make sure they are correct. I also do a complimentary market analysis on any home they'd like to purchase to give them my honest opinion of value. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than a buyer overpaying for a home due to lake of representation. I have the experience and proven success to ensure that my buyers go into the home buying process educated and prepared.
I've lived in the Snohomish/Monroe area since 1983. I currently reside with my husband and many beloved farm friends on the property that my husband's grandparents homesteaded in the late 1800's. I have 2 grown children and a grandson that has captured my heart. In my spare time, we love to spend time with family and friends at our vacation property on Lake Roosevelt in Eastern Washington.
